GAZA, May 2 (KUNA) -- Saladin Brigades, the military wing of the Popular
Resistance Committees, fired three 100mm mortar shells at Israeli forces
executing an incursion into eastern Jabaliya, northern Gaza Strip, the
brigades said in a statement.
In spite of the heavy hovering of the Israeli surveillance planes, the
group of activists returned safely to base, the brigade said.
The attack is in response to the repetitive Israeli incursions, the
brigades added.
Earlier today, the Israeli tanks struck the farm lands located east of
Jabaliya with a great number of mortar shells without causing life loses among
the Palestinian farmers.
Also, an Israeli army spokesperson announced earlier that two Palestinian
missiles hit southern Israel, however no casualties or damage were reported.
