CAIRO, April 24 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Ministry of Health announced Friday the
death of the 26th Bird Flu case.
A statement from the ministry said a 33 year-old Egyptian woman, from Kafr
Al-Sheikh province, died from bird flu.
She was admitted to the hospital in the middle of April with symptoms of
high fever and breathing difficulty. The tests indicated that she was
infected with bird flu.
Totally, Egyptian authorities have registered up to 68 cases infected with
the virus.
Egyptian Government exerted major efforts in educating its citizens in
order to prevent them from being around birds, in order to decrease the number
of cases and deaths.(end)
