ISLAMABAD, April 4 (KUNA) -- More than twenty people including at least two
security personnel were killed in a bloody suicide attack Saturday in a
Pakistani trial agency, bordering Afghanistan, said sources.
A suicide bomber rammed his vehicle into a military convoy heading towards
Miramshah, the main town of North Waziristan tribal agency, from Bannu town,
security sources told KUNA.
They said the attack killed more than twenty people including at least five
children and two security personnel.
Immediately, said sources, after the attack there was heavy exchange of
fire between the security forces and militants.
However, sources added, the militants managed to escape.
The attack came hours after a US missile attack killed near twelve people
including two foreign militants, women and children in Datta Khel village of
Miramshah. (end)
