MOSCOW, April 1 (KUNA) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin held talks
over the phone Wednesday with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on
how to reach a just settlement for the Middle East conflict.
Russian government spokesman was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying
that both sides discussed how to strengthen economic and commercial relations
between Russia and Israel.
Netanyahu won the confidence of the Israeli parliament, Knesset, yesterday.
The Likud party chief will be leading a 30-member cabinet. (end)
