KUWAIT, Dec 24 (KUNA) -- Head of the Palestinian Presidency Court Rafeeq
Al-Husaini inaugurated Wednesday the Palestinian Folklore Exhibition at Kuwait
National Museum, as a part of activities of the 15th Qurain Cultural Festival.
The festival, which celebrates Jerusalem, will last for four days.
The exhibition, held in cooperation with the National Council for Culture,
Arts and Literature (NCCAL) and the Palestinian Heritage Center, includes
Palestinian traditional customs for each Palestinian town, besides traditional
jewelry, and models of old Palestinian buildings.
NCCAL Secretary General Bader Al-Refai and the Head of the Palestinian
Heritage Center Seham Abu Ghazali were present at the inauguration.
The activities of the 15th Qurain Cultural Festival kicked off on December
22 and will last for 24 days.
The program includes cultural activities, art exhibitions, and performances
as a part of celebrations of Jerusalem as the Arab Culture Capital 2009. (end)
