KUWAIT, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti pottery artist Ali Al-Awad held an art
exhibition Saturday night, presenting a new experience in the ceramic art,
using creative and modern ways to produce pottery.
He said in statements to the media that he had 40 pottery pieces on display
and a number of ceramic murals grafted with wood, saying that the what he
presented to the audience was a form of hi art.
He added that he is based his work on the contradictions of life, like
happiness and sadness, darkness and light, sky and earth, saying that this was
a result of three years of continuous work.
He wished that the exhibition would be admired by lovers of ceramics and
fine arts.
Artist Al-Awad is considered one of the few potters in Kuwait, where he
participated in a number of arts events in Kuwait and abroad.
The exhibition is held in Boushahri Art Gallery in Salmiya area, and will
last for two weeks.(end)
