US predator crashes in Afghanistan

KABUL, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- A US predator has crashed in Afghanistan, the military said on Monday.
An Air Force MQ-1 Predator crashed at approximately 11:20 a.m. (local time) in southern Afghanistan on November 2," said the statement from the US forces' main Bagram base this morning.
This is a medium-altitude, long-endurance, remotely piloted aircraft. The MQ-1's primary mission is conducting armed reconnaissance, adds the military statement.
