IRBIL, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Fifteen Iraqi civilians were killed and at least 35
others were injured when a suicide attacker blew himself up in a market in
central Mosul, northern Iraq, on Friday, Iraqi police said.
The suicide attacker, wearing an explosive belt, blew himself up inside the
Kournich market in central Mosul killing 15 civilians and wounding 35 others,
a police source told KUNA.
No further information were available and it was unknown who was behind the
attack.
Mosul was a scene of bomb attacks earlier today killing four civilians and
injuring 16 others. (end)
