KABUL, Sept 6 (KUNA) -- A senior official and his son were among the six
people killed in a suicide attack in western Afghanistan on Saturday.
The explosion took place in office of an intelligence attorney in Nimroz
province.
A bomber, disguised as a beggar, detonated himself inside the office of the
attorney, said Governor Ghulam Dastagir Azad.
The governor said the attorney himself, his 18-year-old son, his deputy and
three other people were killed in the explosion which also razed the building.
He said civilians and aid workers were busy searching for more bodies or
injured underneath the debris of the collapsed building.
He said the bomber evaded the security guards at the entrance of the office
because they guards had taken refuge from the storm in a nearby cabin.
Meanwhile, police said they had found body of a district governor who was
kidnapped by unidentified armed men three days back.
Governor of Zurmat district of Paktia province was kidnapped three days
ago. His body were recovered this morning, said a police official. He did not
give more details. (end)
