BAGHDAD, June 28 (KUNA) -- Iraqi police defused Saturday an explosive
device planted by unknown militants close to one of the Hillah offices of the
National Reform Movement, recently formed by former premier Ibrahim Al-Jaafari
after he resigned from the Dawa Party.
In a statement, the Interior Ministry said Hillah police forces defused the
bomb, but gave no further details except that no damages or injuries had
occurred.
This is the first time that the movement, formed by Jaafari on May 31, is
targeted. (end)
