NEW DELHI, April 26 (KUNA) -- As many as three policemen and two Maoists
were killed in an encounter in the Eastern Indian state of Jharkhand Saturday.
The encounter took place near Makra Pahari in Jharkhand's Dumka district
this morning, a top state police officer told Press Trust of India.
Two Maoists and three policemen were killed in the encounter, the officer
said.
A Maoist was also arrested and two rifles were seized from him, he said.
