BASRA, Jan 23 (KUNA) -- Unknown gunmen attacked with missiles a main
British military base near Basra airport.
The British Army spokesman said on Wednesday the base was attacked with
missiles late on Tuesday, adding that the attack did not cause any casualties
or damage.
The British Army uses Basra airport as a main administrative and logistic
point for three British military bases located in southern Iraq.(end)
