BEIRUT, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Two Lebanese nationals working for a British
demining company were seriously wounded on Saturday when an anti-personnel
mine, from last year's Israeli war on the country, exploded.
A land mine had exploded in the two Lebanese working for the British Bactec
company while they were dismantling it causing them serious injuries, A
Lebanese security source told KUNA.
Following their July-August 2006 aggression on Lebanon, the Israeli troops
left hundreds of thousands of cluster bombs and land mines south of the
country, many of which went off later wounding hundreds of people.(end)
