Anti-personnel mine explodes in southern Lebanon, injures two people

BEIRUT, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- Two Lebanese nationals working for a British demining company were seriously wounded on Saturday when an anti-personnel mine, from last year's Israeli war on the country, exploded.
A land mine had exploded in the two Lebanese working for the British Bactec company while they were dismantling it causing them serious injuries, A Lebanese security source told KUNA.
Following their July-August 2006 aggression on Lebanon, the Israeli troops left hundreds of thousands of cluster bombs and land mines south of the country, many of which went off later wounding hundreds of people.(end) Oh.msa KUNA 291628 Dec 07NNNN
