NEW DELHI, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- At least eight Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
(LTTE) rebels have been killed in fresh clashes with security forces in Sri
Lanka's northern region.
As many as four LTTE men in an attack by the Sri Lankan Army at Omanthai in
Vavuniya in Northern Sri Lanka early today, according to a statement from the
Media Centre for National Security, news agency Press Trust of India reported.
In another incident, four LTTE rebels were killed by the security forces
last night at Valiyankulam also in Vavuniya, the Sri Lankan Defence Ministry
