BAGHDAD, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- Unknown militants gunned down Secretary of the
Iraqi Interior Ministry Captain Hassan Eidan Al-Maliki northeast Baghdad
Wednesday evening.
The gunmen on three cars ambushed the convoy of the senior official in
Al-Gharir district, Al-Shaab city, northeast of the capital city, this
evening, a police source said under condition of anonymity.
Two of Captain Al-Maliki's companions were seriously injured in the attack
and were hurried to Ibn Al-Nafis Hosiptal, the source added. (end)
