Kuwaiti oil official optimistic about results of Riyadh OPEC summit

RIYADH, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti oil Undersecretary Abbas Naqi said he was optimistic that the Third OPEC summit would come out with good and active results, underlining significance of the summit which embarks on activities later on Saturday.
Speaking to KUNA on sidelines of the summit conference, the Kuwaiti official said OPEC was capable of achieving aspired objectives, noting that the summit gained its significance as the world oil prices reached unprecedented levels.
He said leaders of the 13 member countries of the organization usually work on long term policies .
Naqi said Kuwait was participating in the conference with an active and large delegation as specialists took part in several activities organized on the sidelines of the conference. (end) Kt.ajs KUNA 171652 Nov 07NNNN
