Turkish interior minister heads to Kuwait for meeting of Iraq's neighbors

  ISTANBUL, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay headed to Kuwait on Monday to participate in the fourth interior ministers meeting of nations neighboring Iraq that will kick off on Tuesday.
In a press statement before leaving, Atalay said the forum would discuss the affect Iraq's dangerous situation on regional security, as well as boosting security cooperation between Iraq's neighboring countries.
Other matters, he said, would include supporting Iraq in achieving overall security and stability.
The meeting will be headed by Kuwait's First Deputy Premier, Interior Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. (end) ta.ayh KUNA 221841 Oct 07NNNN
