One Iraqi killed, five injured in bomb attack S. Kirkuk

IRBIL, Oct 5 (KUNA) -- One Iraqi was killed and five were injured when an improvised bomb exploded south of Kirkuk after Friday's prayer.
An Iraqi police source from Kirkuk's police department told KUNA the bomb exploded near a joint multi-national police patrol in Qada'a south of Kirkuk killing one Iraqi civilian and injuring five others while not mentioning casualties among the police force.
Meanwhile, several mosques in Mosul did not participate in Friday's prayers in response to Baghdad government's banning of religious activities due to recent religious assassination.(end) sbr.mb KUNA 052243 Oct 07NNNN
