CAIRO, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- Egyptian prosecution ordered Monday eight members of the Muslim Brotherhood group remanded in custody for 15 days pending investigations.
The detainees are accused of belonging to a banned group, possession of anti-government leaflets and promotion of destabilizing ideology, the state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted prosecution sources in Alexandria, north Egypt, as saying.
The investigations made by Alexandria prosecution department revealed that the detainees used to hold meetings at their homes to revive the group and promote its ideology, the sources said.
