Military and Security    8/20/2007 4:29:00 PM

SARAJEVO, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- No presence of Al-Qaeda terrorist group here and news about groups being part of that organization are not based on solid proof, said Bosnian Security Minister Tarik Sadovic on Monday.
Sadovic told KUNA that national security and defense was a joint responsibility between local authorities and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, signed in November 1995.
Bosnia security forces was continuously working with U.S. and European counterparts in order to track down any suspected Qaeda operatives but traces of such elements ceased to exist, affirmed Sadovic. (end) yr.tm.gta KUNA 201629 Aug 07NNNN
