BEIRUT, July 28 (KUNA) -- Cautious calm surrounds Nahr Al-Bared refugee
camp, interrupted by clashes between the Lebanese Army and Fatah Al-Islam
militia every now and then.
Local media said here Saturday the Army is continuing its incursion into
the camp, spreading its units and breaking into an area where the remaining
militias were hiding.
Clashes between the Army and the militia in Al-Amqa neighborhood led to the
killing of all Fatah Al-Islam members engaged in the shooting, the media added.
The Lebanese Army's engineering unit is meanwhile reported to have defused
bombs planted in several of the camps buildings.
Three Lebanese soldiers were killed during the past two days, raising the
number of soldiers and officers killed since May 20 to a total of 122.(end)
