BAGHDAD, July 27 (KUNA) -- The final casualty toll of a bomb car explosion
that took place on Thursday at a marketplace in central Kirkuk, north of Iraq,
stood at 56 killed and injured.
According to a statement issued Friday by the police coordination center,
five people were killed and 51 others were wounded when a salon car exploded
yesterday afternoon near a restaurant in Jumhouriya Street, considered the
commercial center of the city.
Many buildings were damages in the bombing, as well as cars in the
vicinity, it said. (end)
