IRBIL, July 8 (KUNA) -- Two members of the Mosul Municipal Council were
killed Sunday by unknown gunmen, police sources said.
The sources told KUNA the gunmen opened fire at the car in which the two
members, Khalaf Jazaa and Ibrahim Mohammad Omar, were in and killed them
instantly.
The attack took place in the western part of the city.
Last year, six municipal members were killed in Mosul. (end)
