IRBIL, June 19 (KUNA) -- Seven Iraqi soldiers were killed and 19 others
were wounded on Tuesday in an armed attack on their convoy south of Kirkuk,
the Iraqi police said.
The police said that three other Iraqi civilians were also killed in a
booby-trapped car blast in the city of Mosul.
Police Chief of Al-Aqthia in Kirkuk Brigadier Sarhed Qader told KUNA that
unidentified gunmen attacked a convoy of Iraqi soldiers south of Kirkuk
leaving seven soldiers killed and 19 civilians wounded. (end)
