NEW DELHI, June 18 (KUNA) -- As many as three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)
guerrillas, including a divisional commander of the group, were killed by the
security forces in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district
Monday.
The guerrillas were trapped in an open field in Budgam district by the
Indian security forces this evening and killed in the encounter, news agency
Indo-Asian News Service reported.
One of the slain guerrillas has been identified as Chotta Furqan, the
divisional commander of the LeT, the news agency said. Three AK-47 rifles,
grenades and large quantity of ammunition were recovered from slain
guerrillas. (end)
