BAGHDAD, May 20 (KUNA) -- An American reconnaissance plane has crashed in
Iraq, a source in the multinational forces in Iraq said on Sunday.
The source did not reveal the location where the plane fell nor the reason
behind the crash or whether it was exposed to hostile fire or a result of a
technical malfunction.
Spokesman for former prime minister Iyad Allawi said that the plane fell on
the premises of the residence of the Secretary-General of the National Accord
Movement, Iyad Allawi.
He described the incident as a violation of the sanctity of the residential
places and their sanctity. (end)
