BAGHDAD, May 9 (KUNA) -- Unknown gunmen killed on Wednesday a man, 10 women
and two children whose bodies were found in a bus driven by the dead man.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), a police source said the crime took
place this afternoon on the road between Al-Jeblah and Al-Hellah towns, adding
that the bus was probably heading to Al-Najaf before it was intercepted by the
terrorists.
As the bodies were transferred to a local hospital, police forces surround
the area.
In another development, unknown gunmen kidnapped five truck drivers in
Al-Adheem district located 15 to Baghdad's south, said eyewitnesses.
An armed group riding in three cars intercepted the tracks and headed
toward Al-Adaheem's desert with the drivers, noted one of the witnesses. (end)
