Two militants killed in Kashmir

Two militants killed in Kashmir NEW DELHI, April 20 (KUNA) -- Two militants with the "Mujahideen Party" were killed on Friday in heavy clashes with Indian security forces in province of Jammu-Kashmir, northern India.
Sources in Srinagar, the summer capital of the province, told reporters Indian forces exchanged fire with the "Mujahideen", killing two militants whose identity was not yet known.
Security forces were searching the area upon receiving intelligence information that the "Mujahideen" were hiding in the area, and it was the militants that opened fire first, according to the sources.
Jammu-Kashmir has witnessed repeated acts of violence which claimed the lives of thousands of innocent civilians.
