Two US soldiers killed in Iraq BAGHDAD, April 13 (KUNA) -- Two US soldiers were killed in different incidents in Baghdad on Thursday, said the Multi-National Force (MNF) on Friday.
In a statement, the MNF said a US soldier died when a patrol was attacked with small arms fire north of the Iraqi capital. The unit was conducting a security patrol when the attack occurred.
It said no other soldiers were wounded during the attack.
Another statement said a soldier passed away yesterday "due to a non-battle related cause." With this, the death toll of US soldiers killed in Iraq since the beginning of military operations in 2003 stood at 3,295. (end) ahh.ema KUNA 131101 Apr 07NNNN
