Russia says no grounds for US military strike on Iran
MOSCOW, April 5 (KUNA) -- Russia said Thursday there was no evidence that
the US would attack Iran tomorrow.
Russian-American consultations do not "create an impression that Washington
is planning to attack Iran tomorrow," Ria Novosti quoted deputy foreign
minister Alexander Losyukov as saying.
Local and Western media reported that the US was planning a military strike
against Iran.
Iran and the US are at odds over Tehran's nuclear program. The US is
accusing Iran of using the program as a cover to manufacture nuclear bombs but
Tehran denies the accusation. (end)
