Russia says concerned force might be used against Iran

Russia says concerned force might be used against Iran (With photos) MOSCOW, April 3 (KUNA) -- Russia is concerned that Iran will be exposed to a military strike, first deputy foreign ministery Andrei Denisov said Tuesday.
He told a news conference that Moscow opposed any military action near the Russian borders. "Any military action close to Russian borders is impermissible," he said.
Denisov said Russia was doing everything to prevent any military actions in the region.
The official, meanwhile, said the establishment of the Iranian Buchehr nuclear reactor was a pure economic and technical matter and was irrelevant to deliberations within the UN Security Council (UNSC).
He said the Buchehr project was in its last phases, and both sides were working on ironing out financial hurdles to operate the reactor. (end) as.bs KUNA 032031 Apr 07NNNN
