ABU DHABI, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Friday issued a
travel ban for its citizens to Syria because of security uncertainties.
Ambassador Essa Abdullah Al-Kalbani, Director of Citizens Affairs
Department at the foreign ministry, called on UAE's citizens to postpone their
travelling plans to Syria because of the tense situations over there.
He was quoted by state-run news agency (WAM) as saying that citizens
already in Syria should be careful and avoid protests, as well as leaving the
Syrian territories. (end)
