SANAA, Oct 12 (KUNA) -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met here
on Wednesday with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states' ambassadors to
Yemen.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on cooperation between Yemen and
the GCC countries and the latest developments on the Yemeni arena.
During the talks, the Yemeni foreign minister reiterated the Yemeni
government's commitment to the Gulf initiative aiming to put an end to the
current crisis in Yemen.
"We announced readiness to sign the initiative in accordance with the
presidential mandate decree to the Vice President", al-Qirbi said, stressing
the importance of the GCC's role to reach a political agreement to the crisis.
