KUWAIT, July 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's respect and admiration of culture, art
and literature in spite of being a major oil-producer was noted by Minister of
Information and Minister of Communications Sami Al-Nesf on Monday.
After returning home following his attendance of the Asilah Culture
Festival in Morocco, he told KUNA that he had conveyed to attendees of a forum
a speech of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Kuwait took part in the festival with a group of traditional dancers and a
books and poetry exhibition.
Kuwait's participation in the festival is to reveal sides in the culture
unknown to many Arab nations, the minister mentioned.
The festival continues until July 22nd and includes musical recitals,
painting exhibitions, fashion shows and intellectual forums that discuss the
Moroccan identity, he added. (end)
