GAZA, March 13 (KUNA) -- A rocket had been fired from Gaza Strip landed in
a town southern Israel evening but no human casualties were reported, the
Israeli army said Saturday evening.
An army spokesperson, speaking to the Israeli radio, said Palestinians
fired the locally-made rocket from southern Gaza and landed in am empty area
in Negev, southern Israel.
No one was hurt and no damage occured by the explosion of the rocket, added
the spokesperson.
No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Israeli military jets launched a number of raids on Palestinian sites in
southern Gaza at dawn yesterday. (end)
