CAIRO, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- Egyptian authorities reported one more fatality
from the H1N1 virus on Friday, bringing the total number of victims to 44.
According to a Health Ministry statement, the victim was 26 year-old women,
that comes from Hilwan province. She was 32 weeks into her pregnancy,
suffering from breathing difficulties.
Meanwhile, an information center report showed that 94 percent of swine flu
cases have been fully cured by the end of last November. The total number of
swine flu cases reported in the country now stand at 3,216 since June 2009,
with 3,024 cured cases.
Egypt was rated number two among neighboring countries in the percentage of
cases, with Saudi Arabia being number one with 9,355 cases and 81 deaths.
