Algeria announces three swine flu victims

ALGIERS, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Algerian Health Ministry Friday reported three people who died as a result of swine flu, while 50 persons were infected with the A(H1N1) virus.
Three swine flu patients -- 50-year-old woman, a 27-year-old woman and her son -- died in the Western state of Wahran after their health conditions deteriorated as a result of the virus, a ministry statement said.
The ministry did not disclose the names or the deceased.
The statement, meanwhile, noted that 50 new swine flu cases were discovered in different parts of Algeria, raising the total number of infectees to 274 since the first case was discovered last June. (end) ft.bs KUNA 272013 Nov 09NNNN
