WASHINGTON, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- US President Barack Obama has "no grand
expectations" during trilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, the White House
said Monday.
"Were looking to continue to build on progress. I think part of that
progress is getting the three parties, including the United States, together.
And we have no grand expectations out of one meeting except to continue the
hard work, day-to-day diplomacy that has to be done to seek a lasting peace,"
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said in a press briefing.
Obama will host the three-way talks on Tuesday, immediately followed by
bilateral meeting between the President and the two leaders. (end)
