RABAT, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Colombian Minister of Culture Paula Moreno Zapata is
scheduled to start a visit to Morocco on Sunday to explore prospects of
cooperation between the two countries.
Zapata will hold talks with a number of Moroccan officials including
Minister of Culture Thouraya Jobrane, a Moroccan official told KUNA here on
Friday.
The several-day visit is part of long-standing friendly ties between the
two countries and the activities of the 30th Asila International Festival.
The festival will kick off also on Sunday with more than 400 intellectuals
and culture officials attending, he pointed out.
Zapata will take part in an international symposium on civilization
alliance of the Afro-Iberian-Latin American space.
The symposium is part of the 23rd summer activities of Al-Mu'tamed
University, the official added. (end)
