NEW DELHI, July 28 (KUNA) -- As many as two separatist insurgents have been
killed in an encounter with the security forces in Indian-administered Jammu
and Kashmir.
The encounter took place late last night in Surigam forest area of Lolab in
Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Defence Ministry statement
said Monday.
During the gunfight two insurgents were killed, the statement added.
An AK-47 rifle has been recovered from the slain rebels. (end)
