NEW DELHI, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- An insurgent was killed in an encounter with
the police in Pulwama district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir Monday.
The insurgent was killed during a search operation in Tral in Pulwama
district this morning, news agency Press Trust of India reported, quoting a
spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The search operation was still continuing in the area, the spokesman said.
The identity of the insurgent was yet to be ascertained. (end)
