GAZA, Nov 4 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian was killed and several others were
wounded in a second Israeli air raid Sunday on a factory in Beit Hanoun,
northern Gaza, after the first left three dead and many others injured.
Palestinian medical sources and witnesses said an Israeli Apache raided the
factory for the second time today, killing a Palestinian and wounding a number
of others, one seriously.
Ambulances rushed to the area and took the wounded to a hospital in Beit
Lahiya, northern Gaza, they said.
A total of four Palestinians were killed in Beit Hanoun this morning in
this raid and an earlier one that targeted the factory's watch-post.
Meanwhile, the deposed, Hamas-led Palestinian government, which is in
control of Gaza, strongly denounced in a statement the "barbaric attacks" of
the Israeli forces against the Palestinian people.
It said these attacks gave an indication of the outcomes of the upcoming
Annapolis Peace Conference, calling on the Arab League to call for an
emergency meeting to discuss the Israeli aggression.
The deposed government also called on the international community to put
pressure on Israel to halt its violence against Palestinians. (pickup previous)
