Kuwait's Kipco team wraps up visit, leaves for Algiers
TUNIS, Nov 14 (KUNA) -- Managing Director and CEO of Kuwait Investment
Projects Company (Kipco) Faisal Al-Ayyar wrapped up a visit here Tuesday and
left for Algiers within an African tour.
This visit came on the occasion of launching North Africa Holding company
that was established by Kipco and others with the aim of developing and
diversifying regional investments.
Earlier in the day the delegation led by Ayyar conferred with Minister of
International Development and Cooperation Mohammad Al-Juwaini and the Central
Bank governor Toufic Bakkar.
The talks touched on the opportunities available for investment in various
sectors that are the focus of interest of Kipco.
Al-Juwaini underlined during the encounter his country's keenness on
instituting reforms that end up in creating an atmosphere conducive to
investment and business through making amendments to the legislations and
updating the basic infrastructures.
He elaborated in a presentation before the Kuwaiti delegation on
development of the economic position in his country in the last few years as
well as the objectives and programs planned for the next phase.
Concluding he proposed forming a joint Kuwaiti-Tunisian delegation of
experts to follow up the plans for putting Kipco projects in action. (pickup
