Adel, speaking before the Shura Council, or the parliament, said the "Zionists tried to terminate the Palestinian people and wipe them out of the world's map by exploiting the silence of the UN and the support of big powers." He criticized the UN Security Council's (UNSC) recent reaction against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statement over the Jewish State.
