KUWAIT, May 30 (KUNA) -- 1962 -- The Amir Sheikh Abdullah Alآ­Salem Alآ­Sabah opened oil refinery at Mina Abdullah.
1967 -- A unit of the Kuwaiti army left to Egypt to partake in the war against Israel.

1998 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Alآ­Ahmad Alآ­Jaber Alآ­Sabah received heads of Kuwaiti diplomatic missions abroad and stresses the state's keenness on promoting peace and coآ­existence among all peoples.
