2000 -- The Cabinet approved regulations for acquisition of Kuwaiti company shares by foreigners with reference to law 20/2000 issued in May.
2007 -- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah issued an order establishing a charitable fund for those with special needs, in cooperation with the Higher Council for the Disabled.
