BAGHDAD, Dec 25 (KUNA) -- A string of six mobile schools opened Monday in Iraq's northern Nineveh province, all financed by the Kuwaiti Relief Society.
The schools are now up and running and are overseen by Kuwait's ambassador to Baghdad Salem Al-Zamanan, Chairman of the United Iraqi Medical Society Ahmad Al-Haiti told KUNA.
Al-Haiti added that he was grateful for Kuwaiti aid that will prove instrumental in propping up his country's ailing education sector, citing a number of similar schools and clinics that have been built recently. (end) ahh.nam
