KUWAIT, Dec 18 (KUNA) -- The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait Dr. Bakhromjon Aloev affirmed Monday that his country was willing to receive Kuwaiti students at its 56 universities.
Speaking on the sideline of an event at Kuwait University (KU) during the Uzbek cultural week, Ambassador Aloev said that his country was willing to pursue all venues of cooperation with Kuwait especially within the educational domain.
He revealed that this year an Uzbek student was enrolled at KU, hoping that more students would follow on his footsteps.
He indicated that Kuwaiti students are welcomed to educational institutions in Uzbekistan.
In regards to the Uzbek cultural week in Kuwait, the Ambassador said that some 60 individuals from Uzbekistan were taking part in the event.
Ambassador Aloev hoped that the event would help Kuwaitis get familiar with his country's culture and heritage. (end) asa.gta
