BAGHDAD, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- Iraq's Joint Operations Command has announced the start of fresh security operations "to pursue terrorists" in areas north of the capital Baghdad.
Iraqi forces are carrying out a series of raids across the northern Salah-el-Din province to flush out any remnants of "terrorist groups" in the area, read a statement by the Joint Operations Command.
Meanwhile, the statement added that further details would be disclosed in due course. (end)
