UNIDO hosts least developed country industrial partnerships at ministerial

VIENNA, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will host ministers of least developed nations at a conference on Thursday to discuss ways to attain the partnerships and funding necessary for their sustainable industrial development.
UNIDO's Least Developed Countries' Ministerial Conference, under the theme 'Building global partnerships: Enhancing growth and inclusiveness', and comes several days before UNIDO's 2017 General Conference.
The event will also shed light on investment promotion and innovative financing solutions as drivers for sustainable industrial development in least developed countries, in implementation of the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Attended by 47 nations, this year's platform will give these countries' public sectors and businesses the opportunity to strike deals and make partnerships. (end) amg.sd
